The yard

The Chantier Nautique du Vieux port was founded in 1988, at this time it was located at St Jean d’Acre next to the entrance to the old port of La Rochelle.
In 2003 we relocated to new premises of 1000m², situated on the Plateau Nautique, close to all the travel lifts run by the local Port authorities. The 150T Cradle lift allows us to lift out boats of all sizes and work on them either on the plateau or enter into our yard. We are also very close to the Minimes another space dedicated to boat owners and ship yards working on boats, where there are 2 cradle lifts of 10T and 50T.
Our yard is insulated and heated allowing us to work in ideal conditions and respect the usage of all products all year round.

The yard is run by François et Alexia Lésineau.
The technical team (15 skilled workers) is closely run by François
We have our in house accountant and administrator, Christine Benoist. The general management of the yard is overseen by Alexia and François who can reply to your enquiries by telephone Monday to Friday from 8h30 – 12h00 and 13h15 – 17h00.
